Performance and caching cookies — optimize page load speed and overall Platform performance

D. Information Received from Third-Party Login Services (e.g., Facebook Login, Google Login) [NEW]

If you choose to register or log in to the Platform using a third-party authentication service such as Facebook Login (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) or Google Login (provided by Google LLC), Knuggzilla receives certain information from that provider in accordance with the provider’s privacy policy and your privacy settings on that platform.

For Facebook Login and Google Login specifically, the information we may receive includes:

Your Facebook user ID

Your name and display name

Your email address (if you have granted permission)

Your profile picture

We use this information solely to:

Create and authenticate your Knuggzilla account

Personalize your experience on the Platform

Communicate with you about your account

We do not sell, share, or use your Facebook-derived data beyond what is described in this Privacy Policy. We do not request or store your Facebook, Instagram, or other third-party login credentials. All Facebook user IDs and access tokens are protected and are not transferred or shared with any party other than service providers who help us operate the Platform, as described in Section 5.

You may disconnect your Facebook Login or Google Login at any time through your Knuggzilla account settings. To request deletion of information received through either service, see Section 9 (Your Rights and Choices).

E. Information from Marketplace and Product Listing Activity

Knuggzilla operates a marketplace directory that allows licensed dispensaries and cannabis businesses (“Vendors”) to list products, menus, and pricing for user discovery. In connection with this feature, we may collect:

Vendor-submitted business information, including business name, license information, location, product descriptions, pricing, and images

User interaction data related to listings, including which listings are viewed, how long they are viewed, and whether a user clicks an external “Visit Site” or “Order” link

Click-through data when users follow external links from product listings to third-party dispensary websites

Vendor-submitted listing content is displayed publicly on the Platform. User interaction data associated with listings is used for analytics, Platform improvement, and reporting to Vendors on listing performance. We do not share individual user identities with Vendors in connection with listing interaction data.

When you click an external link and leave the Knuggzilla Platform, your activity on the third-party website is governed by that website’s own privacy policy. Knuggzilla is not responsible for the data practices of third-party dispensary websites.

F. Advertising Data

Knuggzilla may display paid advertising content from licensed cannabis businesses and cannabis-adjacent brands. In connection with advertising on the Platform, we may collect:

Advertiser-submitted content, including business name, product information, and creative assets

Ad impression data — information about how many times an advertisement is displayed and to which general audience segments

Ad click data — information about whether a user clicked on an advertisement and followed the link to a third-party website

Ad impression and click data is used for billing, performance reporting to advertisers, and Platform analytics. We do not share your name, email address, or other personally identifying information with advertisers. Advertisers receive aggregate or anonymized performance data only.

All paid advertising on the Platform is clearly labeled as advertising or sponsored content. Clicking an advertisement will direct you to a third-party website governed by that website’s own privacy policy.

G. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” or similar signals. Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to such signals, Knuggzilla does not currently respond to them.

2. Embedded Content from Third-Party Websites

The Platform may include embedded content from third-party websites (such as videos, images, articles, or other media).

Embedded content from third-party websites behaves in the same manner as if you had visited the third-party website directly.

These third-party websites may:

Collect data about you

Use cookies or similar tracking technologies

Embed additional third-party tracking

Monitor your interaction with the embedded content

This may include tracking your interaction with embedded content if you have an account with, and are logged in to, the third-party website.

Knuggzilla does not control the data collection or tracking practices of third-party websites and encourages you to review their privacy policies.

3. How We Use Information

We use information collected to:

Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform

Create and manage user accounts

Enable community participation and gamification features

Verify eligibility, roles, or participation status

Communicate with users and provide support

Monitor, analyze, and improve Platform performance

Enforce our Terms of Service and policies

Display and manage marketplace product listings submitted by licensed Vendor partners

Track user interactions with listings (views, clicks, outbound link activity) for analytics and aggregate Vendor performance reporting

Serve, display, and measure the performance of paid advertising content from licensed cannabis businesses and cannabis-adjacent brands

Bill Vendors and advertisers for Platform services based on listing and ad activity data

Knuggzilla does not sell personal information. We do not share individually identifiable user data with Vendors or advertisers. Performance reporting provided to Vendors and advertisers is aggregate and anonymized.

4. Aggregated and De-Identified Data

We may aggregate or de-identify information so it cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.

Aggregated or de-identified data may be used for:

Platform insights and analytics

Reporting and research

Product development

Such data may be shared with third parties in aggregated form.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information:

With service providers who assist in operating the Platform

To comply with legal obligations or lawful requests

To protect the rights, safety, or property of Knuggzilla or others

In connection with a business transaction (e.g., merger, acquisition, or asset sale)

Service providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to perform services on Knuggzilla’s behalf and are contractually restricted from using such information for their own purposes.

We do not disclose individual user content or identities for third-party marketing purposes.

Third-Party Platform Services

Knuggzilla’s Platform integrates third-party services across the following functional categories. Each may collect or process user data as described:

Community platform services — power user profiles, activity feeds, groups, direct messaging, and notifications. Store user-generated community content and social interaction data on Platform servers.

Location-based directory services — enable business listings with geographic data and proximity-based search. May collect or process user location information (such as city, region, or precise geolocation if permission is granted) to power near-me search functionality. Geolocation data is treated as sensitive personal information under CCPA and is not sold or shared beyond Platform operation.

E-commerce and vendor payment services — process vendor listing fee payments. Collect billing information from Vendors including business name, billing address, and payment details. Payment card data is processed by a third-party payment processor and is not stored by Knuggzilla.

Vendor marketplace management services — manage vendor storefronts, dashboards, and listing administration. Process vendor account and business information.

Security monitoring services — monitor and log IP addresses, login attempts, firewall events, and potential security threats across the Platform. Security log data is retained for a limited period for threat detection and incident response purposes.

Analytics and search performance services — collect behavioral data including pages visited, session duration, traffic sources, and device information to help us understand and improve Platform performance. Some analytics data may be transmitted to and processed by third-party analytics providers, including Google LLC, in accordance with their privacy policies (policies.google.com/privacy). You may opt out of analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Performance optimization services — optimize page load speed and Platform performance. May set cookies to manage cached page delivery and user sessions.

Facebook Login (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — third-party authentication service. Data handling described in Section 1D.

Google Login (Google LLC) — third-party authentication service. Data handling described in Section 1D.

Each of these third-party services operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy. Knuggzilla is not responsible for the data practices of third-party service providers beyond our contractual obligations with them.

6. User Content and Visibility

Certain information you choose to make public (such as profile details or posts) may be visible to other users.

You acknowledge that:

Public content may be viewed, shared, or saved by others

Knuggzilla cannot control how third parties use public content

You may edit or delete certain content through your account settings, subject to platform limitations and retention requirements.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Enforce agreements

Account deactivation or deletion does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of all personal information. Certain data may be retained as required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or operational purposes.

Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that:

Security Vulnerability Reporting

If you discover a potential security vulnerability in the Knuggzilla Platform, please report it to us promptly at:

Please include a description of the vulnerability and steps to reproduce it. We will acknowledge your report within 5 business days and work to address confirmed vulnerabilities as promptly as possible. We will not take legal action against individuals who report security vulnerabilities in good faith.

9. Your Rights and Choices

All users of the Platform, regardless of location, may submit a request to:

Request correction of inaccurate personal information

Request deletion of your personal information, including any information received through third-party login services such as Facebook Login

Opt out of certain non-essential communications

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), subject to applicable exceptions.

The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
